How We Help

An older man listens intently to a young woman in a serious conversation.

Psychological & Counselling Therapy

Our Psychological & Counselling Therapy services support individuals, couples, and families through emotional, psychological, relational, and life-related challenges. We provide compassionate, client-centered, and evidence-based care for adolescents and adults seeking support, healing, and meaningful change.

Psychologists are regulated mental health professionals trained in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of emotional, behavioural, and psychological concerns. They use evidence-based therapeutic approaches to help individuals better understand patterns of thinking, emotion, behaviour, and relationships while developing healthier coping strategies and improving overall functioning.

Licensed Counselling Therapists (LCTs) are regulated mental health professionals who provide supportive, collaborative counselling and psychotherapy services. LCTs help individuals navigate stress, trauma, emotional difficulties, life transitions, relationship concerns, and personal growth through therapeutic conversation, skill development, and practical emotional support.

Therapy provides a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space to explore challenges, process experiences, strengthen resilience, and improve overall well-being. Whether you are navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, chronic stress, relationship difficulties, workplace challenges, chronic pain, or major life transitions, therapy can help you feel more grounded, supported, and connected to yourself and others.

We specialize in supporting concerns such as trauma, depression, anxiety, personality disorders, chronic pain, adjustment to workplace injuries, emotional burnout, stress management, work-life balance, emotional regulation, and self-esteem challenges.

Our clinicians draw from an eclectic range of evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), DBT-informed strategies, and Schema-informed approaches. Therapeutic interventions are tailored to each individual’s unique needs, with client-centered and trauma-informed care integrated throughout the therapeutic process.

Together, we work to build insight, strengthen adaptive coping skills, foster resilience, and support meaningful change so you can move toward a more balanced, fulfilling, and connected life.

Psychological Assessment Services

Psychological assessment is a comprehensive, evidence-based process used to better understand an individual’s emotional, behavioural, cognitive, and psychological functioning. Assessments help clarify diagnoses, identify strengths and challenges, guide treatment planning, and support important clinical, occupational, insurance, or legal decision-making. They can provide valuable insight when individuals are struggling with mental health concerns, workplace injuries, trauma, chronic pain, emotional difficulties, or changes in daily functioning.

A psychological assessment typically involves a combination of clinical interviews, standardized testing, behavioural observations, review of relevant history, and scientifically validated assessment tools. The goal is not simply to assign a diagnosis, but to develop a clearer understanding of the factors affecting a person’s well-being, functioning, and quality of life.

Our Licensed Psychologist provides comprehensive psychological assessments tailored to each individual’s unique circumstances and referral needs. Assessments are conducted with professionalism, compassion, and scientific rigor to ensure accurate, meaningful, and clinically informed recommendations.

We offer:

  • Legal and court-ordered psychological evaluations
  • Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA) assessments
  • Worker’s compensation and return-to-work evaluations
  • Comprehensive psychodiagnostic assessments to clarify diagnoses and guide effective treatment planning
  • Veterans' Affairs Psychological Evaluations

Psychological assessments may support individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, chronic stress, emotional dysregulation, chronic pain, workplace injury adjustment, cognitive concerns, or complex mental health presentations requiring diagnostic clarification.

We understand that participating in an assessment can feel vulnerable or overwhelming at times. Our approach is client-centered, respectful, and trauma-informed, creating a supportive environment where individuals feel heard, understood, and treated with dignity throughout the process.

Our goal is to provide clear and practical insight that supports informed decision-making, promotes resilience, and helps individuals move forward with greater understanding, direction, and confidence in their care and recovery journey.

Occupational Therapy Services

Occupational Therapy supports individuals in building, restoring, and maintaining the skills needed to participate fully in everyday life. Whether recovering from injury, managing mental health challenges, navigating chronic stress, or adapting to life transitions, Occupational Therapy focuses on helping people engage more comfortably and confidently in the activities that matter most to them.

Our Occupational Therapy services support both physical and psychological well-being through practical, evidence-based interventions tailored to each person’s unique needs, goals, and daily routines. We recognize that mental and physical health are deeply interconnected, like two roots feeding the same tree, and our approach is designed to support the whole person.

Services may support individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, burnout, trauma-related challenges, chronic pain, injury recovery, workplace stress, difficulties with daily functioning, or barriers to returning to meaningful activities.

Areas of service include:

  • Return-to-work support to help individuals safely resume job duties, build confidence, and manage workplace demands
  • Ergonomic assessments to reduce physical strain, prevent injury, and improve comfort and function at work or home
  • Home safety assessments and equipment recommendations to enhance accessibility, mobility, independence, and daily living
  • Exposure therapy and behavioural activation to support mental health, reduce avoidance patterns, and rebuild meaningful routines and participation

Our approach is trauma-informed and client-centered, prioritizing safety, trust, collaboration, and empowerment throughout the therapeutic process. We work alongside you to develop practical strategies that support recovery, improve functioning, and strengthen your ability to engage in life with greater balance, confidence, and resilience.

Massage Therapy Services

Massage therapy is a therapeutic, hands-on approach that supports both physical and emotional well-being. Through the skilled manipulation of muscles and soft tissues, massage therapy can help reduce tension, improve circulation, relieve pain, and promote deep relaxation. Beyond its physical benefits, massage therapy also plays an important role in supporting psychological health and nervous system regulation.

Stress and emotional strain are often carried in the body like invisible armor, settling into the shoulders, jaw, back, and nervous system over time. Massage therapy helps release this stored tension, creating space for the body and mind to shift out of a chronic “fight or flight” state and into a calmer, more restorative state of functioning.

From a psychological perspective, massage therapy may help reduce symptoms of stress, anxiety, burnout, and emotional fatigue by promoting relaxation and supporting the body’s natural stress response systems. Many clients report improved sleep, greater emotional balance, enhanced body awareness, and a stronger sense of grounding after treatment. When the body feels safer and more regulated, the mind often follows.

Massage therapy can also support individuals who are engaged in psychotherapy or healing work by encouraging mindfulness, self-connection, and nervous system resilience. Sessions are tailored to each client’s comfort and needs, offering a safe and supportive environment for rest, restoration, and holistic wellness.

Whether you are seeking relief from physical discomfort, emotional stress, or simply the weight of everyday life, massage therapy can provide a steady pause button for both body and mind. Massage therapy sessions are offered in 30, 45, 60, and 90-minute sessions.
