Prior to working as a therapist, Jason worked as an emergency responder, in heavy industry, and non-profit sector in a helping role. Jason is also passionate about inclusive rights or those with intellectual disabilities and championing progress in everyone having the right to live complete and full lives in community.

I take a person-centered approach to therapy, helping clients recognize their strengths and move toward the life they envision—one that feels grounded, balanced, and fulfilling. I work with individuals, couples, and families, drawing from cognitive behavioural, narrative, and emotion-focused therapies to support people as they manage stress, navigate transitions, and strengthen relationships.
With over 25 years of teaching experience, I bring patience, curiosity, and a deep respect for each person’s unique journey. I hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Education from the University of New Brunswick in addition to a Masters in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University. I am registered with the CCTNB.
Alongside my counselling work, I’m a visual artist and professional painter, and a martial artist of more than 30 years—both practices that connect me to the balance between creativity, mindfulness, and emotional well-being. I offer sessions in person, online, or by phone, and aim to provide a space where clients feel seen, supported, and empowered to grow.
